Sports betting technology and platform provider SBTech has become the latest industry incumbent to strengthen its corporate compliance frameworks and resources with Isle of Man strategic consultancy SMP eGaming.
Updating the market, SBTech governance informs that it has contracted SMP eGaming to develop a tailored compliance staff and management training programme on compliance disciplines.
In its mandate, SMP eGaming will deliver a comprehensive interactive platform allowing for the distribution, management and reporting of compliance and personalised regulatory training content across the international organisation.
Development of the SMP eGaming training programme has been spearheaded by SBTech’s Chief Compliance Officer Jeremie Kanter, who joined the technology group last November.
Kanter is responsible for continuing to grow and maintain the high standards of compliance across SBTech’s global business including the wide range of new and existing markets in which it supplies its leading products and services.
He said: “We pride ourselves on achieving the highest regulatory standards possible across all areas of the business with compliance central to our operations.
“Ongoing knowledge, awareness and learning is vitally important within compliance as it is such a fast-moving and changeable area across the 20 regulated markets in which we operate. Regulatory training is paramount to all areas of the business, and we want to ensure that all our employees understand the importance of compliance in order to create a successful internal culture.
“Compliance is an enabler to sustainability and achieving even more success, and the partnership with SMP will help us to grow and expand our reach and reinforce this across the company.”
Ted Pepper, Director of SMP eGaming, added: “SBTech is dedicated to reaching the highest compliance standards and its commitment to training and developing its staff within the gaming sector is to be commended. As such, we are proud that they have chosen the SMP Compliance Academy to become a core component of promoting their ongoing culture of compliance and raising regulatory standards.”
