Scientific Games hires Steven Stamstad as global marketing lead

Issuing a market update, Nasdaq-listed Scientific Games Corporation (SGC) has confirmed the appointment of Steven Stamstad as Senior Vice President of Marketing & Communications.

Updating investors, SGC governance details that it has hired a ‘25-year global marketing expert’, tasked with elevating the SGC brand proposition, messaging and engagement with corporate stakeholders.

A seasoned marketing executive with a proven track record in delivering effective strategies for multi-national firms, Stamstad has formerly led global marketing projects for Electronic Arts and Walt Disney Co as Marketing VP.

Stamstad joins SGC’s executive leadership team from Expedia home rentals subsidiary HomeAway.com, where he formerly served as VP of Global Brand Marketing (2015-2019).

Reporting directly to SGC President and Group Chief Executive Barry Cottle, Stamstad will leverage his marketing and communication expertise to drive new products, build brand franchises and expand innovation across Scientific Games’ portfolio of omni-channel products.
