New York-listed gambling technology group, IGT Plc will continue to act the lead systems supplier for Slovak state-owned lottery operator TIPOS AS, with both parties agreeing a 10-year partnership extension.
Updating the market, IGT confirms that it will lead TIPOS upcoming systems and terminal upgrade, migrating TIPOS operations onto IGT’s Aurora Central System.
The upgrade will see TIPOS upgrade its lottery retail network with new shop terminals, customer management software, a new player provisions such as mobile phone top-ups and intant ticketing capacities.
“IGT’s expertise and technology innovations will provide TIPOS with the flexibility and power it needs to effectively manage and grow the lottery,” said TIPOS CEO Jan Barczi. “We look forward to continuing our relationship with IGT to enhance funding for important causes in Slovakia over the coming decade.”
