Filing a corporate statement, Nasdaq-listed US gambling, leisure and entertainment group Caesars Entertainment Corporation has confirmed the appointment of Juliana Chugg to its Board of Directors (pending regulatory approvals).
Updating investors, Caesars governance details that it has recruited Chugg as a corporate advisor on brand, diversification, product innovation and licensing strategies.
Chugg is the former Group Chief Brand Officer of US multi-national toy manufacturing and entertainment firm Mattel Inc (2015-2018), where she led key corporate franchises generating $6 billion in corporate revenues.
“Juliana has extensive senior executive experience and has successfully managed all aspects of multi-billion-dollar businesses, including operations, strategy, product innovation, marketing, e-commerce, branding and licensing,” details Jim Hunt, Caesars Chairman of the Board.
Furthermore, Chugg serves as a corporate director of US apparel conglomerate VF Corporation – advising on customer strategies for global brands such as The North Face, Timbaland, Vans and Wrangler.
Caesars governance details the appointment of Chugg as critical for the development of the firm’s future propositions, seeking to grow Caesars’ brand, products and services on a global scale and beyond gambling.
“I’m pleased to join the Caesars board to support the further development and implementation of the Company’s exciting growth strategies,” Chugg said on joining Caesars’ board.
