William Hill US seeks ‘entertainment edge’ with NJ Devils partnership

William Hill US announces another ‘landmark agreement’, becoming the first official betting partner of the New Jersey Devils’ NHL franchise.

Visibly furthering its presence within the Garden State, William Hill has agreed a multi-year partnership with US sports conglomerate Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment, becoming a lead partner of the Devils and its Prudential Newark Center arena.

Updating the media, William Hill US details that it will move to launch a permanent in-arena ‘activation centre branded – The William Hill Sports Lounge’.

Joe Asher, CEO of William Hill, backed the Devils partnership, as critical deal for the betting group’s defining  US vision and strategy;

“We are thrilled to partner with the New Jersey Devils and Prudential Center,”

“With three retail William Hill Sports Books and our Mobile Betting app now available in the Garden State, engaging New Jersey sports fans is extremely important for us. This partnership provides us with a number of fantastic opportunities to connect directly with the passionate supporters of New Jersey’s hockey team.”

The Sports Lounge will be open for all Devils home games and the more than 175 concerts and special events held at the arena annually.

Furthermore, William Hill US details that the Devils partnership will see the bookmaker host a number of co-engagements with its existing New Jersey betting portfolio, such as fan parties at Monmouth Park, Ocean Resort Casino, and Tropicana Atlantic City in New Jersey.
