SIS signs extension with Dubai racecourse Jebel Ali

Racing and Greyhound content distributor Sports Information Services (SIS), has signed an extension to its deal with Jebel Ali, that will see the firm continue to provide exclusive pictures and data from the track.

Under the terms of the new agreement, which will run from 2018/19 through to 2019/20, SIS will be enabled to continue its distribution of exclusive content from the Dubai racecourse, to both retail and online operators around the world.

Meetings from Jebel Ali will be streaming via SIS Stream, the firm’s multi-platform streaming service, and adds to its existing exclusive horse racing content, which includes racing from five continents and includes six of the top 10 ranked races in the world.

Simon Fraser, Head of International Racing at SIS, said: “This is a very significant deal for us, as we can continue to provide extensive and high-quality racing content throughout the year.

“Racing from Jebel Ali is an important part of our racing schedule, as it occurs at great times for European operators, 10:30am (GMT) on Fridays between November and March, and is an attractive offering for both online and retail customers with its excellent field sizes and competitive racing.”

This follows a fresh partnership entered with Unibet, which will see SIS deliver horseracing and greyhounds lives pictures and data from worldwide racecourses.

Providing its British and Irish Racing service, taking in 42 fixtures per week and Early Prices, allowing the Kindred brand to open markets to its customers much earlier, it will also supply live pictures from further afield.

This includes 2,750 races per year from Latin America, 220 meetings from Dubai’s Meydan and Jebel Ali plus a further 296 from Mauritian racecourses.
