Global gambling trade body the Gaming Standards Association (GSA) has elected a new board of directors, as it marks its twentieth year in existence.
Updating industry stakeholders, GSA governance stated that it wanted to reflect its diversity of membership with its new board appointments.
The new GSA board will consist of Novomatic senior executive Roman Czubak, taking the role of GSA Chair. Czubak will be supported by former Scientific Games project management leader, Randy Hedrick as the association’s Vice Chair.
Furthermore, GSA governance retains Atlantic Lottery Corp’s Director of Marketing Byron Bridger as trade body treasurer.
Commenting on the appointments, GSA President Peter DeRaedt said, “We are grateful for the visionary and steady leadership of our outgoing Chair, Adrian Marcu, who was a critical force in moving global standards forward. Now we are excited to welcome Roman Czubak and Randy Hedrick as our Chair and Vice Chair. Both Roman and Randy are deeply respected and judicious innovators, and we are pleased to have them lead our diverse Board and Membership.”
Re-elected to the Board were Scott Milford, Aristocrat; Adrian Marcu, IGT; Mike Langedock, Manitoba Liquor & Lotteries Corp; Chris Hobbs, Microgaming Software Systems; Syed Hussain, Oregon State Lottery; Francesco Rodano, Playtech
Further to the announcement of a new board leadership, the GSA has announced that formed a new Blockchain Committee to keep a pace of with wider technology changes which may impact the gambling sector and its stakeholders.
