Ladbrokes Australia becomes first TopBetta Global Tote partner

Updating the market, the governance of Australia ASX-listed TopBetta Holdings (TopBetta) has announced that it has signed a ‘landmark agreement’ which will see Ladbrokes Australia become the first client of it ‘The Global Tote’ service.

The partnership will see Ladbrokes Australia replace its existing tote products for TopBetta’s The Global Tote system, which enables operators to participate in international betting pools for greyhound and horseracing fixtures.

TopBetta management has this week begun the integration of its tote system within Ladbrokes Australia’s betting platform, with the product expected to be launched in January 2017.

Licensed as a B2B wagering service, TopBetta’s Global Tote has been approved by the following racing operators; Racing NSW, Greyhound Racing Victoria, Racing Queensland, Racing Victoria and Canberra Racing.

Commenting on the decision to partner with TopBetta , Dean Shannon Ladbrokes CEO detailed:

The Global Tote is a solid initiative with significant upside for operators as well as delivering more choices to clients seeking the best odds. We look forward to kicking off as soon as possible.”

Buckingham further detailed to the media, that The Global Tote has the ‘potential to change the wagering landscape’, with TopBetta governance actively looking for new partners for its pool service in 2017.
