I would like to thank all the judges and everyone involved in this competition. This award is for everyone who works in our betting shops.”

Helen Scott, Customer Relations Manager at SIS, added: “Yet again, we were treated to eight excellent performances at final judging, each year the quality and calibre never ceases to impress. All of us in this industry should feel extremely lucky and proud that we have such talent representing us on the high street. Congratulations to Robert and his team, a very deserving champion.”

Mabbett, who declared himself ‘absolutely made up’, will go on a VIP trip to the Emirates Singapore Derby next July courtesy of the Singapore Turf Club, and will be invited to Belle Vue next month to make a presentation at the RPGTV Oaks and Laurels gala, live on Sky Sports.
