Intralot Group has announced that Christos Dimitriadis, Group Director of Information Security, was re-elected for the second consecutive term as Chair of the Board of Directors for the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA).

Dimitriadis has worked in information security for more than 16 years, and written more than 150 security-related publications. He has received multiple awards for his work, including an innovation award from the European Lotteries Association and the John W. Lainhart IV common body of knowledge award for ISACA constituents.

Dimitriadis commented: “In an era of digital transformation, ISACA supports professionals and organizations using technology as a business enabler and innovation vehicle. We do this through the deployment of technology governance and management frameworks, through the establishment of capability maturity models, by addressing impeding factors like cyber threats, and through the creation of trust that assurance programs introduce.

“It is an honour, privilege and great responsibility to chair the board of directors for a second term. I am looking forward to working with our international community to increase ISACA’s contribution to the industries and professionals we serve.”

Antonios Kerastaris, Intralot Group CEO, said: “I would like to congratulate Christos, a distinguished professional and member of Intralot management team, for his re-election as Chair of ISACA.

“Technology-driven innovation and trusted operations have always been at the top of our agenda and adopting international good practices on governance of technology, risk and security management are the means to achieve our goals. Intralot and the gaming sector at large will be greatly benefited by ISACA’s initiatives under Christos’ leadership.”

Dimitriadis previously served on several ISACA volunteer groups, including ISACA’s Knowledge Board, COBIT for Security Task Force, Strategic Advisory Council and Academic Relations Committee.
