Italian gambling operator Gruppo SNAI has confirmed the appointment of Chiaffredo Rinaudo as new Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
Rinaudo takes the executive role as SNAI looks to complete its merger with licensed Italian market gambling technology and content provider Cogemat (deal first announced May 2015). Rinaudo had previously served as CFO of Cogemat holding company Cogetech
As CFO of the combined enterprise, Rinaudo will be tasked with leading a new long term financial strategy as SNAI governance looks to strengthen the company’s position within the Italian retail betting and gaming machines market.
The new business entity of SNAI and Cogemat is estimated to gain 15% of the Italian gambling market, as acquired Cogemat currently serves 9% of Italian gambling machines.
Rinaudo will report directly to interim CEO Gabriele de Torchio, who replaced former SNAI leader Giorgio Sandi in July 2015, having secured the Cogemat merger.
