Ladbrokes’ Matt Howe wins “Betting Shop Manager of the Year”

Matt Howe Ladbrokes Walsall Road (Birmingham) betting shop owner has been crowned ‘Betting Shop Manager of the Year’ by the Racing Post and SIS wagering systems.

Impressing a secret judging panel, Howe 29 was described as top betting shop manager for his “excellent, friendly and professional” service offered in his “spotlessly clean” shop,

Howe is the fifth Ladbrokes betting shop owner to win the prize. He will be rewarded with a VIP trip to the Emirates Singapore Derby, courtesy of the Singapore Turf Club, while he and his team will be taken by SIS to Ascot on Friday December 18.

Brough Scott, chairman of the judging panel, said: “Matt Howe showed himself to be an outstanding young man and will assuredly make a fine Betting Shop Manager of the Year.”
