Fortuna Entertainment re-hires Michal Hanák as Chief of Sports Betting

Eastern European sports betting and gambling operator Fortuna Entertainment has announced that it has re-hired Michal Hanák as its Chief Sports Betting Officer, as the operator looks to strengthen its presence and services within core markets.

Hanák re-joins Fortuna Entertainment having served as Head of Trading and as a member of the operator’s board from 2005-2012. From 2012-2015 Hanák would serve as Director of Strategy and Sports Betting Operations for competitor Niké in the Czech Republic

An industry veteran, Hanák brings a deep knowledge of the Eastern European sports betting markets. He will be charged with the overall performance of Fortuna Entertainments betting division and product strategy.

The re-hiring of Hanák was welcomed by Fortuna Entertainment CEO Per Widerstrom, who continues to reshape the operators executive team having been appointed in September 2014.
