As next week’s Cheltenham Festival approaches (10-13 March), Manchester bookmaker Betfred plans to make its racing channel Betfred TV the best destination for horse racing enthusiasts to follow.
The in-house TV Channel which is broadcast to its 1400 high street shops will also stream some of their preview content at www.betfred.com including on Sunday night at 6pm a special Cheltenham Preview evening featuring top jockey Richard Johnson.
Betfred has launched a series of video content advertorials produced by design studio Shadowplay to support its broadcast channel in the biggest week for UK bookmakers.
Betfred’s Head of Media and Communications Mark Pearson commented:
“Nearly a quarter of a million people will make the annual pilgrimage to Cheltenham but if you are not lucky enough to be going we plan to bring the whole experience to our customers. We’ll be live from the racecourse every day with exclusive preview interviews and great offers.”
In the build up to the Festival Betfred TV have visited the stables of all the top trainers including Paul Nicholls, Willie Mullins and Nicky Henderson The bookmaker is the sponsor the feature race of the festival The Betfred Cheltenham Gold Cup
