The Bookmakers Technology Consortium (BTC), a co-operative of independent bookmakers operating over 350 betting shops in the UK and Ireland, which includes a number of well known UK bookmakers (www.btc.uk.com), and Optima IS, an international betting and gambling software developer (www.optimaonline.es), are pleased to announce that they have recently entered into an agreement for Optima IS to support, maintain and develop BTC’s Margin Maker 2 betting and e-gaming platform starting from the 1st of November 2014. This service had previously been provided to the BTC by the lottery and e-gaming systems giant GTECH. Earlier this year, Optima and Gtech announced a deal by which Optima IS acquired rights and business from GTECH in order to support current Margin Maker 2 customers and to commercialize and continue the world wide development of the award winning e-gaming and betting platform.
