Ladbrokes PLC have confirmed that General Counsel and Company Secretary Jonathan Adelman has stepped down with immediate effect.
Adelman first joined the bookmaker in August 2008 after a spell as vice-president and senior counsel of hotel and resorts chain Hilton. Adelman has operated a as key figure in the Ladbrokes organisation, helping the operator helping the operator in UK and overseas legal matters. Adelman played a key part in reducing legal costs for the operator.
Ladbrokes confirmed that Annabel Bannerman would take over as general counsel having previously served as Adelman’s deputy. Adrian Bushnell, who joined Ladbrokes as head of secretariat in January of this year, will now assume the company secretary role.
Ladbrokes have given no further comment as to Adelman stepped down from his position.
