Fitzdares bets big on ‘industry-first’ live chat app engagement

William Woodhams – Fitzdares

Private bookmaker Fitzdares has announced an ‘industry-first’ after launching a ‘built-in live chat function’ to support its mobile betting app.

The premium bookmaker details ‘a game-changing service’ for its members, delivering a centralised hub to check prices, place bets or even ask for an opinion/advice from the Fitzdares trading team all from within the app.

The launch of the live chat function sees Fitzdares continue its focus of delivering personalised betting experiences for its patrons, having also been the first bookmaker to launch text betting.

William Woodhams, CEO of Fitzdares, explained: “We think the future is providing responsible gambling through highly personal service and investing in experiences and best-in-class offers, rather than adverts and algorithms. We’ve invested over £2m in members’ experience over the last year.”

A busy 2019 has also seen Fitzdares revamp its digital profile by relaunching its online sportsbook and casino services utilising FSB Tech platform provisions.

“We are confident this is the right direction and the results to date have been phenomenal. Live chat with our broker team is the first step on this journey,” Woodhams added: “We are moving in a very different direction from the rest of the industry who are relocating their customer-facing call centres to Manila and closing their shops.”
