Gibraltar-based bookmaker BetVictor has announced the launch of its native Android app as the firm continues with its plan to dedicate resources to technological innovation within the gaming industry.

The application was developed in-house by BetVictor’s specialist technology team, a bespoke design allowing the business to be more flexible and make adjustments and continuous developments to meet customer needs far quicker than if the product was outsourced.

This latest application has been described by customers in beta testing as reliable, incredibly fast and intuitive according to the bookmaker.

The App will include every major feature available across all current channels including BetVictor’s recently in-house developed Cash Out facility. Customers will be able to move seamlessly between applications and products within a single wallet.

Jonathan De La Rosa, Chief Technical Officer at BetVictor, commented: “It is very rare in the industry to design a dedicated native in-house Android App and this confirms our stance as major technological innovators. The team have been working around the clock on the development to ensure the layout and presentation are best-of-breed, and the result is an application to excite Android users across the globe.

“Its launch ensures we are well-positioned to meet the challenge of the expanding Android customer base and provide them with the best possible customer journey and experience.”

The development is part of a growing trend for in-house development by operators in the gambling industry as they try and differentiate themselves from the competition.
