888 keeps an eye on the competition

888.com has signed a deal to use iGaming Business‘ new Social Monitor product to measure and analyse its social media presence and that of its competitors.

Created iGaming Business and social media monitoring company SCRM Cloud, Social Monitor is a managed enterprise-class solution for bespoke social media monitoring, analytics and engagement needs.

The tool is entirely customisable and can monitor any iGaming brand in up to 27 languages across the web, including social media, blogs, forums and news sites.

“We are really pleased to have such a significant brand sign up and join our rapidly growing list of clients for this new tool,” commented Alex Pratt, Head of iGaming Business. “Social Monitor is the first solution of its kind specifically tailored for the iGaming industry. It is really exciting to see it gathering momentum as operators and suppliers begin to understand the competitive advantage it provides across the business; from acquisition and retention to affiliates and offsite UX.”

Joakim Nilsson, Founder of SCRM Cloud, added: “Social Monitor bridges the gap between technology and a growing need for igaming companies to monitor how their brands resonate  across social channels. Social Monitor enables iGaming brands to benchmark their own social efforts and reach against the competition.

“We’ve developed search terms that make it possible to drill down in minute detail. For example, we can analyse what has worked on Twitter for any sport across sportsbooks or understand the critical mentions related to payments, promotions or customer service on forums in real time.”
