Betfair takes on Quickfire

Quickfire, powered by Microgaming, has signed an agreement with Betfair to supply its online casino and mobile games.

Betfair, founded in 1999, is one of the largest online betting and gaming operators in the UK market – its gaming products are used by nearly 1 million players. Betfair offers three core products: Exchange, Sportsbook and Gaming. Its Gaming segment is set to grow thanks to an agreement with Quickfire whereby both Quickfire’s casino and mobile content will be added to betfair.com.

Niki Longmuir, Product Manager at Betfair, commented: “What particularly impressed us with Quickfire, powered by Microgaming, was the volume and quality of content as well as the commitment to deliver new, innovative games on a rolling basis. We believe that their games fit extremely well with our player demographic, particularly the mobile and tablet offering, which comprises some of the most advanced mobile games in the marketplace. As technology continues to advance we feel assured that Quickfire will provide us with timely and suitable content to meet our consumer’s needs.”

Ashley Sandyford-Sykes, Head of Quickfire, added: “Quickfire will be the perfect addition for Betfair; our headline slots, branded content and mobile-specific games will undoubtedly meet the requirements of their broad player base. Betfair is a welcome addition to the Quickfire platform and we look forward to a longstanding relationship with them.”
