FavBet signs Filip Hrgović as new brand ambassador

Ukrainian-based FavBet has signed unbeaten European senior and world junior champion Filip Hrgović as its new brand ambassador as part of a new two-year agreement.

As part of the partnership, Hrgović’s boxer shorts will be branded with FavBet logo and the boxer will also work alongside the operator in developing many projects related to corporate social responsibility.

Oleg Smityuk, Head of international marketing at FavBet, said: “Filip Hrgović is one of the most promising boxers in the world. He has won titles at the world and European level, and his greatest successes are yet to come! Therefore, Filip is exactly what we need to further expand our business.”

The agreement comes ahead of the operator’s entry into the Croatian market in Q1 2020. The boxer will play a key role alongside Barcelona footballer and Croatian national team player Ivan Rakitic, who became FavBet ambassador in August.

Hrgović and Rakitić will represent the Favbet brand in Europe, while in Ukraine they will represent the Favorit brand.

Filip Hrgović commented on the new partnership with FavBet: “If you want to be the first and the best – you need to hang out with the best! That’s why I chose FavBet, who have already collaborated with big sports names like boxer Oleksandr Usyk or legendary football player Alex Hleb. That is why I really look forward to future joint projects.”
