Uniting sports with LeoVegas has been helping to build a bridge between Norfolk based sports outfits Leicester Tigers and Norwich City.

The Swedish mobile gaming and sports betting operator is the shirt sponsor of City and official betting and gaming partner of the Tigers.

They presented England internationals Ben and Tom Youngs, fellow Tigers Will Evans and George Catchpole and development talents Harry Mahoney and Harry Simmons, who all hail from the region, with the canary yellow strip of their beloved local football club to show their cross sport unity and celebration of their roots.

Scott Clarke, Leicester Tigers Head of Community, said:  “The Tigers academy has produced some of the world’s best players and this success is built on the strong links we have built with clubs around the UK and abroad.

“Norfolk has a prolific reputation for developing youth and rugby through a number of our programmes, which start with our u10s Prima Tiger Cup competition, youth rugby camps at local clubs as well as our far-reaching scouting network.

“By having an association with one of the region’s most successful football teams through our top players from Norfolk, we hope to continue to drive rugby development across the region.”

The Tigers regularly host Rugby Camps and grassroots tournaments across the county, in addition to attending the Royal Norfolk Show every year with The Maul and the roadshow team.
