Betting industry multi-channel supplier OPTIMA has been promoting its brand on the golf circuit with the sponsorship of Chris Hanson, who has claimed a tie of 5th place in the European Tour Trophee Hassan II in Rabat, Morocco.

Rounds of 72, 71, 67 & 75 gave Hanson a -3 total, just two shots off the eventual winner.

OPTIMA MGS is a multichannel, web, mobile, retail and call center sports betting and e-gaming product suite which integrates the most advanced and new technologies in the market and has one of the most comprehensive supplier networks in the industry.

OPTIMA MGS also incorporates the renowned sports betting platform MarginMaker 2 for which OPTIMA acquired worldwide rights from GTECH in summer 2014.

Jacob Lopez Curciel, CEO of OPTIMA MGS, said: “Chris is a fantastic ambassador for our brand, he is always striving to improve with relentless determination.

“When we first met before the season started, we immediately knew we wanted to support him. He is not only an excellent golfer with great results, he is an excellent person who we really appreciate. He is a real find for UK golf and we are proud to sponsor him.”

Hanson is in his first full year on the main European Tour and has been steadily improving over the last few tournaments. He now moves on to the next tournament in the Mauritius where he hopes to continue the momentum and stake his place in the race to Dubai.

Hanson, who actually led going into the last day, was quick to thank all of his supporters for the continued support: “If it wasn’t for my sponsors and companies like Optima my dreams would not be possible, and to have a career high finish of 5th in Morocco last week just shows what impact it has on my game having great people supporting me.”
