Football Association of Ireland Partner With BragBet

gilesIrish social networking and online betting operator BragBet have announced a commercial partnership with The Football Association of Ireland (FAI). The gaming operator is set to become the official betting partner of the Republic of Ireland national football team, the commercial deal has been announced today by Irish Football’s governing body – The Football Association of Ireland (FAI). The terms of the deals have yet to be revealed by both parties.

BragBet a new online bookmaker is part owned by Spanish telecommunications giant Telefonica, their betting system allows interactions between punters via mobile and digital platforms.

BragBet chief executive Phil Riordan commented on the FAI Deal – “We are absolutely delighted to sign this deal with the FAI and become the official betting sponsors of the Irish national team,” This is an exciting time for BragBet and for the game in Ireland. Hopefully, our work together will promote the boys in green and generate more interest in the Irish game.”

FAI chief executive John Delaney further commented:  “The partnership will give us a great platform for further promotion of the game and will provide funding to support the work that we are doing on many levels to grow Irish football.”
