Holland Casino has appointed Nuvei to lead the payment processing and player verification provisions of its fully-licensed online casino property, in line with the laws and standards of the KOA online gambling regime that launched on 1 October.
Nuvei will provide the Netherlands’ state-owned casino operator with a payment processing and customer verification solution, fully customised to meet the KOA regime’s KYC regulatory demand.
Holland Casino was amongst the first 10 operators to qualify for KOA licences granted by Kansspelautoriteit (KSA) – the Netherlands gambling authority.
The appointment of Nuvei followed an extensive search and examination by Holland Casino of online payment technologies servicing regulated online gambling marketplaces.

Nuvei underscored its ability to match the Netherlands’ rigorous anti-money laundering laws and the EU’s revised strong customer authentication (SCA) requirements as part of the Payment Services Directive (PSD2).
Further market credentials see Nuvei serve as an acquiring partner to iDEAL – offering seamless integration with Dutch consumers leading e-wallet solution.
