Maxima Compliance appoints Catalin Zaha as product lead

Industry full-service compliance agency, Maxima Compliance has confirmed the appointment of Catalin Zaha to the newly created role of Chief Product Officer (CPO).

A seasoned software engineer and product management expert, Zaha joins Maxima Compliance from Flutter Entertainment’s Paddy Power Betfair unit, where he served as a product manager optimising data for regulatory and financial purposes.

“Maxima Compliance continues to build a diverse range of products in support of the compliance needs of our customers, so it was time we appointed our first ever chief product officer to oversee these products,” said Antonio Zanghi, Maxima Compliance CEO.

“Catalin joins with exceptional pedigree and experience at one of the world’s largest gaming companies. He’s going to be a fantastic addition to our team.”

Zaha will oversee the full-service compliance provider’s product suite, which includes Complitech, the technical compliance database for the gaming industry.

The Maxima Compliance portfolio of products was further bolstered early this year with the launch of Maxima DataVault, a platform capable of receiving XML and JSON data from operators and game providers, and saving it in the correct format required by local regulators across multiple jurisdictions.

Zaha added: “Maxima Compliance has been on my radar for a couple of years because of the innovative and technology-led approach they take to compliance.
