IGT appoints ‘security pro’ Dr Samantha Ravich as corporate advisor

New York-listed gambling technology group International Game Technology Plc (IGT) has moved to strengthen its corporate advisory confirming the appointment of Dr Samantha Ravich as an Independent Director.

A scholar in national security development, political science and cybersecurity defence measures, Dr Ravich is the current Chair of the Center on Cyber and Technology Innovation at the ‘Foundation for Defense of Democracies’, leading research at the ‘Transformative Cyber Innovation Lab’. 

IGT appoints Dr Ravich as a governance and leadership advisor on cybersecurity, compliance and stakeholder management dynamics, impacting the disrupted global gambling landscape.

Considered a leading expert on cybersecurity, defence and intelligence policy formation, Dr Ravich is a member of the US Council on Foreign Relations and has further advised the US Intelligence Community and the Department of Defense.

Confirming the appointment, Lorenzo Pellicioli, Chairperson of the Board of Directors of IGT said:
