UltraPlay bolsters its esports betting portfolio

Betting solutions provider UltraPlay has recently announced that GWENT, The Witcher Card Game is the title to be added to the company’s esports betting portfolio.

It means that UltraPlay is the first online gaming provider to offer betting on the popular card game GWENT.  

Peter Ivanov, Head of Esports trading at UltraPlay commented on the new offering: “Gwent is a perfect choice for a card game that offers endless fun to the players. The esports betting brands using UltraPlay’s products will be one step ahead of the competition providing another exciting option to their players.

“We believe that the game holds a great potential to attract many esports punters with passion and experience in card games.”

UltraPlay has recorded significant interest in the game, with positive player activity at the first event that the company covered during the weekend – the GWENT Challenger #2 (Dec 16-17), also as part of the official game’s tournament. Eight of the best GWENT players globally joined the battle for a piece of $100, 000 prize pool.   

Gwent is a free-to-play, turn-based card game that is easily perceived by the audience. With its user-friendly features and gaming elements, GWENT has successfully built a solid fans’ base of more than 500 thousand players worldwide since its launch in 2016.

Earlier this year, UltraPlay has added Heroes of the Storm Live, Kind of Glory also covering live betting of the game as well as FIFA Interactive World Cup.  Besides the diversified coverage of competitive games, UltraPlay is covering 3000+ eSports events monthly as well as 1500+ In-Play events.
