In 2018, BoscaBet is aiming to help independent betting shops rival the large retail chains in terms of enhancing customer engagement and experience.
The Irish-based software company has affirmed its commitment to transforming the presentation of horse and greyhound racing in LBOs, with the launch of its new digital display solution, the BoscaBet “Live Race Centre.”
Live pricing and results, next-race signposts, premium timeform content, tips of the day ads and greyhound forecasts, are just some of the features independent betting shop customers can expect in 2018.
The BTC (Bookmakers Technology Consortium) recently endorsed BoscaBet as an authorised Digital BSD solution for its members, which now encompasses over 500 independent betting shops in the UK and Ireland.
BoscaBet CEO, Fergal Downey, who was a keynote speaker at the TVC Bookmakers Trade Fair in Solihull on Thursday, said: “BoscaBet is transforming the way information is delivered to customers following the creation of our ‘Live Race Centre’, which will add value to every event in-shop and attract not just the valued, established betting shop customer, but also a fresh and younger audience.
“It brings the benefits of digital into the physical space and opens new opportunities for retailers to offer smarter, more focused offers. We are delighted that the solution has been endorsed by the BTC, and we look forward to seeing it being rolled out to its members in the coming months.”
BoscaBet’s offering is already deployed in the independent LBO market, including MegaBet, Winning Post, Toals, S&D, Bet138, among others, but that number will swell following its agreement with the BTC.
