Easy Payment Gateway targets growth with double announcement

Easy Payment Gateway has coincided the opening a brand new office, with an addition to its team.

The online payment specialist has opened the doors to its first London office, and appointed former Paysafe Group Business Development Manager Jonathan Gonzalez Rambal as Head of Business Development UK.

Jose Peral, Chief Operating Officer at Easy Payment Gateway, said: “We are delighted to open our London office. The city is a hub for innovative fin-tech companies, and Easy Payment Gateway certainly fits into that category.

“It allows us to meet the increase in demand for our products and services, and to also forge closer relationships with our UK clients and those further afield. I’d like to welcome Jonathan to the team, too.”

Rambal, charged with growing the company both in the UK and on an international scale, arrives with over 12 years experience within the ecommerce, online payments, investment advisory and real estate industries.

Rambal added: “I am delighted to join Easy Payment Gateway at such an exciting time for the company. London is fast becoming the global leader in fin-tech, and Easy Payment Gateway sets the standard in the sector.

“I’m looking forward to strengthening the relationships we have with our current UK and international clients, as well as forging new partnerships with businesses that can benefit from our cutting-edge technology.”

This follows news of Easy Payment Gateway closing a £5.5m funding round, with the cash injection previously being used to drive operational growth with new offices in both Malta and Madrid.
