Updating the market, Nordic Nasdaq-listed Kambi Group Plc has detailed that it has strengthened its supplier position within the Italian betting market, having secured the lead sportsbook platform provisions partnership for StarVegas Italia.
The partnership will see Greentube-owned StarVegas launch a ‘premium sportsbook’ product utilising Kambi platform and system provisions. This week, Kambi detailed that it had launched the initial StarVegas sportsbook, as the ‘Italy top 10’ casino operator looks to secure a slice of the circa €500 million Italian sports betting market.
Securing the partnership, Kambi expands its current Italian market client portfolio, which includes prominent brands; 888Sport, Unibet, LeoVegas Sports and Winga.

The StarVegas sportsbook project furthers Kambi’s supplier relationship with Novomatic Group’s Greentube interactive division, which saw the launch of Admiral Romania’s sports betting product this July.
Seeking to become a prominent player in the Italian betting market, StarVegas will promote its new sportsbook product with an above-the-line campaign through TV and print media, while it also intends to increase its presence on digital marketing channels.
