Basketball royalty to appear at Global Gaming Expo

NBA legend and two time hall of famer Earvin ‘Magic’ Johnson is to deliver a keynote address at next month’s Global Gaming Expo (G2E) in Las Vegas.

Johnson is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Magic Johnson Enterprises, an investment conglomerate valued at an estimated $1 billion dollars.

The ex Los Angeles Lakers Point Guard is to deliver a thirty minute address discussing how he transitioned from success on the court, to achieving the necessary skills required to ensure his business ventures prospered off it.

Following his speech, Johnson will engage in a 15 minute discussion with American Gaming Association (AGA) President and CEO Geoff Freeman.  Here the pair will cover views on the future of sports betting legalization and the possibilities of it being accepted into the mainstream sports industry.

About the appearance, Freeman said:  “Magic Johnson’s experience on and off the court has helped shape his successful business career.”

“I look forward to talking with him about the future of sports betting.”

‘Magic’ is to appear on the special events stage on October 5th at 9am.
