Mr Green offers more entertainment and engagement with new Sportsbook

Speaking at Betting on Sports 2017, Enda Gaffney, head of sportsbook for Mr Green, described the operator’s new sportsbook as “more entertaining and more engaging than your traditional sportsbook offering.”

The online gaming company is introducing features such as combi spin football and unique tennis, with “a few more in the pipeline around other sports.”  These are coupled with an industry first content experience, giving players a more rounded betting experience.

Jesper Kärrbrink, CEO Mr Green Ltd, said: “Our business strategy Mr Green 2.0 is comprised of five cornerstones – brand, user experience, product offering, geographic expansion and being the leader in responsible gaming.

“The launch of our new Sportsbook 2.0 embraces all five of these cornerstones and particularly so from a Green Gaming aspect by helping the player make informed betting decisions based on the expert insight as provided by Bettorlogic. I think we are the first sportsbook really trying to help our customers bet smarter.”

Should players require a reason to bet, whether that be before a match or in play, Mr Green now offer 17,000 of such on a weekly basis.  Content, powered by Bettorlogic and branded under the ‘bet assist’ stamp, will create bet prompts to aid players in making bets.

Combi spin football allows players to set their own odds and spin to find their preferred match selection, while a new bespoke instant tennis feature offers the ability to bet on the very next point.

Andrew Dagnall, CEO Bettorlogic, commented: “Bettorlogic are very grateful that Mr Green shares our vision that bettors should be assisted in what is predominantly an experience to be enjoyed. We are seeing the benefits of investment in our own IT team in India as it enables us to be far more responsive and cost efficient to the needs and vision of Mr Green.”

The United Kingdom and Ireland will be the first markets to use the new sportsbook, with it being rolled out to others over the coming weeks.
