Sun Bets marketing has informed that it will sponsor the 71st East Anglian Derby at Yarmouth Stadium (Norfolk) taking place this September.
The News UK and Tabcorp joint-venture bookmaker undertakes’ its first greyhound racing sponsorship, in which it will contribute £15,000 towards the Derby’s racing prize-pool. Furthermore, the bookmaker will secure the title name on all syndicated races, which will be branded as ‘The Sun Bets East Anglian Derby’, which will be broadcast on Sky Sports channels.
The bookmaker stated that it was delighted to sponsor a legacy fixture for UK greyhound racing. Tabcorp’s UK Executive Director, Bernadette McLoughlin said:“Sun Bets is pleased to sponsor the 2017 East Anglian Derby at Yarmouth. Greyhound racing is an important betting product in our portfolio and we look forward to working with and promoting this year’s competition.”
