Issuing a market update, Chicago-based US casino operator Rush Street Gaming has confirmed the appointment of Mark Lunter as its new Chief Marketing Officer.

A casino marketing veteran, Lunter joins Rush Street from market competitor Caesars Entertainment, where he served as Regional Vice President of Marketing for Caesars Eastern US properties (Baltimore, Philadelphia and Tunica). Lunter has also held marketing leadership positions within Harrah’s Philadelphia operations.

Lunter joins Rush Street as the company sets to launch new casino properties in the East Coast and Midwest territories, and will takeover full marketing initiatives in Chicago and Philadelphia.

Ron Baumann, COO of Rush Street Gaming commented on the executive appointment of Lunter “We’re excited to welcome Mark Lunter to the Rush Street family. With our rapidly expanding operations, including the recently opened Rivers Casino & Resort in Schenectady, New York, Mark’s experience of successfully integrating strategies across multiple geographies will be a huge asset.”

Rush Street confirmed that Lunter would be based out of its headquarters in Chicago, reporting directly to its corporate governance team.
