Former Azubu Managing Editor to be named ESPN eSports Editor

SBC News Former Azubu Managing Editor to be named ESPN eSports EditorAccording to a source at the Daily Dot, ESPN’s hunt for an eSports editor is now over with former Azubu man Darin Kwilinski set to take up the role.

Kwilinski announced his exit as Managing Editor at Azubu on December 11th. Azubu is an eSports entertainment firm which it was announced last week has received close to a £40m boost following a round of investment funding.

An email which was sent to the Azubu staff reportedly stated that Kwilinski would be taking up a role with ESPN following his two year spell managing the content on the Azubu platforms.

ESPN, which posted an advert for the role in September, has been steadily increasing its eSports coverage over the past year, publishing the first eSports edition of ‘ESPN: The Magazine’ in June.
