Swintt appoints Azzopardi to oversee product delivery and expansion

Swintt has strengthened its corporate oversight, appointing Etienne Azzopardi as its new Chief Operations Officer, as the localised online casino and live dealer content provider aims to reach ‘the next level of success’.

The new executive will be tasked with maximising Swintt’s product delivery, client launches and geographical expansion, whilst ‘keeping a close eye on customer needs’ supporting Swintt’s ongoing commercial development.

Azzopardi most recently served as Commercial Operations Director at Quickspin, with responsibility for customer onboarding, commercial analysis and coordination of high priority projects.

“Etienne is one of the most experienced and skilled executives in the industry and his knowledge and understanding of product development and commercial delivery will be vital to Swintt as we continue to grow at pace,” said David Flynn, Chief Executive Officer at Swintt, welcoming the new COO.

“This is only possible because of the phenomenal team we have built and in Etienne we have someone who fits perfectly with our culture and wider ambition to become a tier one game provider for operators in markets around the world.

“I’d like to officially welcome Etienne to the team and look forward to working with him as we continue to push the boundaries and deliver market-leading products and games to our partners.”

In addition to his role at Quickspin, Azzopardi brings 22 years of experience in IT professional services, digital product development and commercial delivery, having worked with leading betting and gaming operators such as Betsson AB and KPMG.

He joins Swintt as the firm strives to maintain its ‘reputation for the quality of its products’, currently offering clients a slot portfolio, live dealer offering – SwinttLive – and its SwinttGamify engagement tools.

Commenting on his new role, Azzopardi remarked: “I’m thrilled to join the team at Swintt – I’ve been welcomed by a team of industry experts, and great people, and am eager to get going and contribute to Swintt’s continued success.

“Swintt’s rapid expansion means I’ll be joining the company at an exciting time and I’m looking forward to delivering strong growth for Swintt and its customers.”
