Gaming1 has strengthened its game design and marketing team by appointing Ricardo Viana as its Chief Creative Officer – the first position of its kind in the company.
As CCO at the Argent Group gaming and sports betting platform, Viana will take charge of the design, distribution and marketing of its global suite of over 120 titles, streamlining the development process for its slots, dice and table games.
Viana has over 25 years experience in the gaming industry, notably serving as Creative Director at Play’n GO, where he oversaw the operator’s development pipeline and held the position of Game Director at Skymoons Edinburgh, the free-to-play content developer.

Belgian platform Gaming1 has recently enhanced its gaming portfolio with the addition of popular titles such as Dragon Fury, Gobs’n Gold and Astro: The Great Race, launching these titles in Latin America and Malta as well as other European jurisdictions.

In his newly created role, Viana will likely work closely with Gaming1 Chief Marketing Officer David Carrion, who joined the company in October 2020 and coordinates its international B2B expansion.
Gaming1 recently became one of the latest European gaming operators to join the International Betting Integrity Association (IBIA), enhancing the organisation’s reach in the European and American betting and gambling markets.
