SG offers Highlight Games content via OpenArena

Scientific Games (SG) has agreed to distribute video virtual sports and instant win products from Highlight Games via its OpenArena platform.

Through the agreement, games including NBA Last 60, NBA Winning Hoops, IIHF World Championships Ice Hockey as well as English, Italian variants of Highlight Games’ Soccerbet product will be made available to SG’s network of clients.

“Scientific Games prides itself on offering the most compelling and entertaining content to its customers across the globe and Highlight Games’s video virtual sports and instant win games certainly fulfil this commitment,” explained Keith O’Loughlin, SVP Sportsbook, Digital at Scientific Games.

“Highlight Games’ products are unlike any other virtual sports or instant win games available and will be a fantastic addition to the portfolio of content available on the OpenArena platform.”

OpenArena, which has been dubbed a ‘one-stop content marketplace’, allows sportsbooks to offer a range of new products via a single integration.

Steven Holmes, Co-CEO of Highlight Games, added: “It is testament to Highlight Games’s unique product proposition and progress as a business that we’re in a position to announce this deal with one of the biggest gaming companies in the world.

“Joining Scientific Games’s OpenArena will make Highlight Games’s exclusively licensed products available to operators and we can’t wait to deliver our market-leading portfolio of premium content to more customers to enjoy in a responsible way.

“Our games have already disrupted the virtual sports space with Soccerbet; now the number one performing product in Italy with online revenues up, on average, twice those of our graphical competitors since March 2020. We look forward to replicating this success in partnership with Scientific Games.”
