Kiron inks ‘landmark’ deal with ATG

Specialist virtual games provider Kiron will make its virtual sports content available across Aktiebolaget Trav och Galopp’s (ATG) online channel in a deal which the supplier has described as a ‘landmark tender’.

Kiron was selected to integrate its full library of virtual games, including its recently launched Goal football and ice-hockey titles, onto the operator’s platform following a three-month procurement process.

Celebrating the new agreement, Steven Spartinos, co-CEO of Kiron, said: “Winning the competitive tender to be ATG’s virtual games supplier is a fantastic achievement for Kiron and our partner in the region and builds on the momentum we’ve gained in recent months as demand for our portfolio has rocketed.

“With a vast selection of quality, high-entertainment games that are tailored to meet the local market demands in Scandinavia, this integration will make a valuable addition to ATG’s offering and unlock new opportunities in the region for our business.”

The addition of new virtual sports games will allow ATG to deliver ‘quickfire, round-the-clock’ betting opportunities for Swedish players.

The partnership with ATG, one of the region’s largest horse betting, sports betting and casino operators, comes as Kiron continues to make waves in the industry after being the first to launch virtual content in Colombia, Spain and South Africa within the last 12 months.

Christian Erlandsson, Head of Sports Betting at ATG, added: “In today’s competitive environment we are always looking to enhance our business with new and exciting products that offer players quality betting-based entertainment.

“The high-standard and variety of games available through Kiron stood out during the tender process, as well as its robust platform technology, and we are now looking forward to the release on our Swedish online channels on the 10th of November.”
