Live Casino software from BetConstruct gets GLI certification

BetConstruct has moved a step closer to bringing its in-house live dealer casino games to operators in the UK after securing product certification from Gaming Laboratories International (GLI).

The company’s Live Casino software is now expected to secure a licence from the United Kingdom Gambling Commission (UKGC) having met the stringent remote gambling and software technical standards set by the regulator.

GLI is among a select group of ‘test houses’ that are approved to test compliance against the Commission’s technical standards and equipment requirements.

Holding international accreditation for compliance with a range of ISO/IEC standards for technical competence in the gaming and gambling industries, GLI has tested and certified BetConstruct for both its Live Casino software and live studio.

This satisfies one of the company’s key goals to strengthen its position in Europe and Scandinavia through licensing in UK and Malta, as well as make new moves into Denmark, Sweden and Italy.

The news marks an exciting week on the casino side for the software developer. Having been shortlisted for ‘Innovation in Live Casino’ at the SBC Awards alongside Evolution Gaming and Ezugi, the company has picked out Live Casino as a key part of its G2E product promotion.

Speaking ahead of this week’s Las Vegas show, BetConstruct’s Regional Director for the US Jonathan Aiwazian said: “Live Casino have also shown to be quite popular in the States. We look forward to displaying our Live Studio solution featuring real-life croupier as it presents an amazing opportunity to unearth new players and new revenues.”
