Merzoug lands Managing Director role at ComeOn

Cherry subsidiary ComeOn has announced the appointment of Lahcene Merzoug to the position of Managing Director.

Merzoug joins from Mr Green, where he held the position of Chief Marketing Officer. He is set to succeed Tomas Johansson, who has been acting managing director at ComeOn since October, in July.

Commenting on his new role Merzoug stated: “ComeOn is a leading player with a number of well-known brands that inspire our industry, and I am honoured to take over as managing director.

“I look forward to continuing to develop the operations to give the company a clear market-leading position and to strengthen our position as the first choice for customers and employees.”

Anders Holmgren, Chairman of ComeOn added: “Together with the rest of ComeOn’s company management, Tomas has done a fantastic job of quickly reversing the trend within ComeOn, and the company now has more profitable and sustainable operations.

“Lahcene is the right person to take the company forward. His experience of building growth in organisations and his well-documented marketing skills will give us a smooth transition and take ComeOn several steps ahead.”

As an adviser within the Cherry Group, Johansson will provide some assistance to Merzoug and others during a transitional period.
