Playtech strengthens corporate advisory with Claire Milne appointed new Non-Executive Director

FTSE-listed gambling technology provider Playtech has strengthened its corporate advisory by confirming Claire Milne as an Independent Non-Executive Director.

Milne a gambling and technology legal expert will advise the Playtech board on regulatory compliance as the firm seeks expand its services within new and related sectors.

Milne currently serves as a Senior Partner for Isle of Man law firm Appleby, leading technology and intellectual property consulting teams.

As an independent advisor to Playtech, Milne will advise the firm’s committees on auditing, risk & compliance, governance nominations and executive remuneration.

Confirming the appointment of Milne, Playtech Chairman Alan Jackson stated the company had made a ‘key appointment’.

“As a leading global software provider it is fitting that Playtech’s Board contains a wealth of knowledge in the developing areas of technology and eGaming law. Claire brings 20 years’ experience of advising multi­national corporations in these evolving sectors and we look forward to benefitting from her expertise.”
