LC Tech: Giuseppe Lo Cascio – US expansion opens up the door to engaging with a wider audience

With more and more markets beginning to consider the idea of igaming and sports betting regulation, it is becoming increasingly important for industry stakeholders to consider operating in multiple jurisdictions across the world.

This year will see SBC host its inaugural Betting on Sports America which will take place at the Meadowlands Exposition Centre in New Jersey.

Among those attending is LC Tech. In a chat with their CEO, Giuseppe Lo Cascio, where we discussed LC Tech’s expansion plans into the American market, and their plans to promote their new cutting-edge products at Betting on Sports America.

SBC: For those that are not aware of your LC Tech, can you tell us a bit about what it is you do? What, for you, are your most unique selling points?

GLC: LC Tech is an International Software Development House with over 20 years’ experience specialized in the iGaming and sports betting sector with multiple sales, operations and support offices in Asia, Europe and soon America.  

We support hundreds of operations globally with our key priorities being security, scalability and an award winning support infrastructure that allows our customers to grow their business seamlessly. This is facilitated by our cutting edge platform which is adaptable to all types of markets and regions.  

SBC: The US market has recently opened to new operators and suppliers, where do you see LC Tech fitting in to the newly regulated market?

GLC: We are very excited about the latest developments in the US with the market opening up. We are able to provide a complete and certifiable platform tailored and adjusted to any type of local regulatory environment.  

With this in mind, we are looking for local partners that are hoping to expand their operations in the US market.

SBC: What are the main challenges that LC Tech faces in the coming year? And what would LC Tech like to achieve in 2019?

GLC: Our priority is to meet the needs of our current and future customers, regardless if they are industry veterans or new to the business we at LC Tech are always looking forward to supporting them and enabling their businesses to grow.

We have a world class team, an award winning product and are aiming to become one of the industry leaders in this sector within the next three years. We are achieving this by means of increasing our headcount by 300% over the next 18 months, allocating more funds to R&D so that we can continue releasing the most innovative and cutting edge technologies that are available on the market.  

Finally we will be opening another two regional offices in the next 6 months, of which one will be in America.

SBC: Can you tell us a bit about what you will be showcasing at the upcoming Betting on Sports America in April?

GLC: We are greatly looking forward to attending the upcoming ‘Betting on Sports America’ event next month, in order to showcase our platform with its unique data and odds feeds offering 20% more live and pre-match events than any other provider.

Furthermore we offer thousands of dazzling Slots, the leading Virtual Sports providers and nonstop Live Casino play with the finest Live Casino modules available on the market to date.

Apart from that we are looking forward to displaying some of the most cutting edge technological innovations for the iGaming sector which will be showcased for the first time at the ‘Betting on Sports America’ event.

SBC: And finally, what are you most looking forward to at the event?

GLC: We are looking forward to having a fantastic time at the event and meeting lots of new operators, partners and potentially new team members.
