A willing heart will do the magic in Nigeria

johnsonfoyeJohnson Adewale Foye, Head of Operations at HSL Gaming Network Limited which runs Gobet3000, believes that sports betting can be a source of positive change in Nigeria.

Nigeria seems to be a country with a mono-economic structure because we almost solely depend on the harvest we make from our crude oil export. The nation’s budget is usually aligned or backed with statistics we derive from our oil market and, sadly, now the international market for crude oil is beginning to drop and is coming low as $50 per barrel.

Economists are afraid of what will become of the future of this nation if we continue in this trend and proposals of austerity measures are being conducted right now. Some people fear the loss of their jobs. Sectors are beginning to have serious meetings on how to solve or salvage the impeding danger ahead of our great nation.

In the midst of these things, I have great news for you. Is it a job you need or you need a business you want to invest your money into? Diversification is the answer to what we have at the moment and the way out is to put your money in trust. This is also the best time for real investment. Might sound out of place but I personally think a right decision is the best answer. You may ask what’s the right decision is to be taken? My answer is simple “sports-betting”.

Why Sports-betting?

I know some of us reading this in Nigeria might seem confused but research has shown that sports-betting grows better in a lower economy. You may want to ask why again? The answer is that it will be a strong force that gives hope to the middle class and below, and you know that in most developing economy like ours, the highest ratio of population falls within this region.

In the eastern part of this country, I met a guy who was a secondary school teacher, he taught for free and then organises extra class where he makes his income. During our conversation he told me his lecturer usually tells them back in school not to look for jobs but opportunities. I introduced sports-betting business to him. He sold his father’s land to start the business and today within just less than two years; he has over 50 people working for him personally and earns over a million naira monthly. He has also acquired some more properties.

Another man in the western part of the country came to me to narrate how his then current boss was underpaying him. I introduced him to the business and today, he has over 25 people working for him. He makes so much now that he has decided to participate in politics so he could help his locality. I can write a book on how sports-betting has transformed lives.

Invest Now

The best time to invest is now into the sports-betting sector in Nigeria both locally and internationally. As an operator, content provider, sportsbook maker e.t.c the time for Africa is NOW. Individuals who want to start a business, there is a lot of offers on ground. You have the opportunity to choose from an array of operators who are trying to out shine each other. Your knowledge about the sector might be low, but a willing heart will do the magic.
