IGT appoints Kim Barker Lee as first ever ‘Corporate Diversity’ lead

New York-listed gambling technology and lottery systems supplier IGT Group has confirmed the promotion of Kim Barker Lee to the newly created role of Vice President of Corporate Diversity & Inclusion.

IGT governance confirms that Barker Lee will be tasked with implementing the group’s first ever ‘global diversity strategy’, working alongside IGT leadership and HR functions.

The executive appointment will see Barker Lee chair IGT Group’s ‘Executive Diversity and Inclusion Council (EDIC)’, a program assisting IGT leadership and emerging talent on diversity impacts and workforce challenges.

Barker Lee formerly served as General Counsel of IGT Group’s Illinois Lottery management subsidiary Northstar Lottery Group (2011-2017).

Confirming the appointment, IGT governance stated that it wanted to create relevant and measurable corporate goals with regards to its global corporate diversity policies and future initiatives.
