Bolstering its European operations, Sky Betting & Gaming (SB&G) has appointed Giovanna D’Esposito as Managing Director of Sky Bet Italia.
Industry news source EGR Magazine reports that the former Paddy Power Italy MD, will be charged with establishing and leading SB&G products within the Italian market, as the firm looks to grow its operations outside of its core UK marketplace.
D’Esposito who previously was Managing Director of Paddy Power Italy (2011 – May 2015) will be based out of Sky Bet Italia offices in Rome.
As new MD of Sky Bet Italia D’Esposito detailed to EGR Magazine that she was excited to join one of the leading online bookmakers and launch its first international operations.
Richard Flint CEO of SB&G backed D’Esposito hiring, stating that her experience and knowledge of the Italian betting market would help its operations create a strong brand with an exciting proposition for Italian consumers.
SB&G announces D’Esposito appointment as Italy lead as it commits an £11 million investment to increasing its staff resources by undertaking 200 new hires.
