London AIM listed mobile content and platform provider Nektan plc has published its 2015 full year results (12 month period ending 30 June).

The results published marked Nektan plc’s first set of public earnings since its November 2014 AIM listing, which saw the firm secure £4 million in its IPO offering.

Nektan governance stated the company had made significant progress, despite recording a 72% revenue decline to £528,000 from £1.85 million (FY 2014).

Further key top-line metrics recorded would see Nektan record adjusted EBITDA losses of £5.1 million (FY 2014 – £3.4 million). The firm would post full year pretax losses of £8.1 million, widening its operational losses from £5.1 million for FY 2014.

Despite its decline in key metrics, Nektan governance highlighted that its operations had secured significant operational ventures during 2015, which would aid future corporate growth. Nektan secured partnership with New UK to launch Sun Play mobile casino and joint ventures with Spin Games LLC for the US market.

David Gosen, Chief Executive Officer, said:

“I am pleased to report Nektan’s first full year results since our IPO. The Group has made considerable progress during the year and continues to see strong quarterly growth in Europe across all key performance indicators and strong momentum in the US, through Respin, our US joint venture.

Our pipeline remains very encouraging and, along with our existing partner base, emphasises the strength of our proprietary, scalable platform, content and sector expertise, all of which leave the Group well-positioned to benefit from the opportunities available to us in a growing market. We remain confident in our outlook for the full year and beyond as Nektan continues to strengthen its position and to deliver strong momentum in our key markets in Europe and the US.”
