Igaming and sports betting operator 32Red has appointed London based media planning agency M.i. Media to handle its media planning, strategy and buying as part of a new marketing drive for its key brands.
According to marketing newsource MediaWeek.co.uk, Gibraltar operated 32Red is expected to increase its media spend to around £6 million (€7.3 million/$10 million) this year in order to bolster its presence in the UK igaming market ahead of 2015 scheduled tax regulations.
M.i. Media Agency pitched to 32Red’s commercial and management team, in order to win the account. The operator’s media business was previously handled locally in Gibraltar, where 32Red’s headquarters is based.
Matt Booth, commercial director of 32Red, said: “M.i. Media demonstrated a detailed understanding of our business throughout the pitch process. I am confident that their rigorous approach will be invaluable to us as we build on the current success of the company.”
