There are plenty of reasons to get excited about the SBC Awards 2016 on 7 December, which promises to be a huge year-end celebration and one of the sports betting industry events of the year!

However, instead of just taking our word for it, here’s a selection of high profile delegates talking about what they are most looking forward to at Under the Bridge night club on Wednesday night:

Johan Styren, CEO at LeoVegas Gaming, commented: “2016 has been a great year for sports betting and this was sustained by a number of high-profile sporting events, including the Euro 2016 tournament and the 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Rio. For us, 2016 meant the launch of our sportsbook – LeoVegas Sport – a product vertical for which we’re shortlisted in two categories at the SBC Awards.

“I’m looking forward most for the actual award ceremony and I’m hoping that LeoVegas Sport will be amongst the winners.”

Marcin Sapinski, MD at EnergyCasino, said: “Getting a chance to catch up with the most talented and successful individuals and teams in the industry, in a relaxed and fun atmosphere, is going to be great. Events like this give lots of opportunities for inspiration to take hold.

“The SBC Awards give us all a chance to take a step back, breathe, and really appreciate the huge efforts, progress and innovation that has happened in our industry over the last year. It’s going to be fantastic to be able to recognise both teams and individuals.”

Stuart Tilly, CEO at Argyll Entertainment, commented: “Aside from the chance of receiving an award from my favourite sports presenter, Hayley McQueen, it’s a perfect venue and time of year to be celebrating our achievements, and all the team from Argyll Entertainment are looking forward to a great party.

Bernard Marantelli, CEO and Founder at Colossus Bets, added: “I’ll be interested to see what innovations the judging panel think are going to have a real impact on the industry. I’m also looking forward to the social element of the night which was a memorable part of the event last year.”

Martin Wachter, CEO at Golden Race, said: “The SBC Awards will be a great opportunity to celebrate and network – 2016 was our tenth anniversary year with many great successes for us and our partners, and the exclusive venue and DJ Kellie Acreman will really add to the evening for sure. And of course, if the judges made the right decision, we’ll receive an award for our Real Fighting game. Either way, we’re always very happy to be involved in industry events.”
